Unplug power cable for 5 minutes, if it is a laptop also remove battery.
Use an adaptor for your computor
Is this a laptop or a desktop computer? if its a laptop this can be a problem with the power supply or the power adapter of the laptop since its not turning on..
This already a problem with either the power adapter of the laptop or the battery , so if you can try another battery just to check if the laptop will be working. or better take it to a servcie center near you....
Clean the terminals on the battery & computer with a clean eraser. Make sure you keep eraser dust out of your box.
You are looking for a light indicator that the battery is charging or in use.
Using a PSU from another unit without investigating is dangerous.
Youi can proceed cautiously , but not before confirming whether or not you just need a new batte
Good luck.......

You will need to give the brand of computer and it sounds like you are talking about a laptop the battery ran down on?
HI,
Remove your battery and then connect it with the charger to the power outlet, press the power button for 30 sec and it should turn on.
Let me know the result.
Also Clean the terminals on the battery & computer with a clean eraser. The Terminals are the parts that touch each other and are copper colored.
Well then there are no more home remedies it could be
a switch failure, but it's more likely a power regulation or mainboard failure.
You will have to get it repaired.
