How do iuse my intergratred web cam for my hp pavillion dv9000

using a web camera is very simple even though it can be complicated sometimes.

you may be seeing a driver installed for ur web camera, in the device manager. But u need an application to run ur camera.

Dont worry i've been through the same problem i'll definately help u fixin it.

Select ur operating system & direct urself

Consider if u selected Windows XP,
then go for
HP 1.3 MegaPixel (MP) Webcam Software Drivers
and download it..

Consider if u go fir Windows Vista,
then go for
HP Webcam Driver with Firmware Upgrade for Microsoft Windows Vista
and download it..

it has to work for definate as i solved my own problem this way..

HP Pavilion dv9000 integrated webcam wont work, i'm using windows vista. It worked when i first got the laptop but has never worked after, On windows messengr, it just wont show the web cam symbol as if it...

If you did not have Vista with the new laptop then you will certainly need to go to HP's site which is very user friendly and download the Vista drivers for that webcam.
