My Garmin 1350 is having problems. When I turn it on, it says press dot, and a little dot is on the screen. When I press the dot , it just moves to a different part of the screen. I did not drop the device, or damage it in any way. Have you heard of such a problem before? and/or do you have a solution? thanks in advance Edward

Give the screen a thorough cleaning with a soap and water cloth (NOT SOAKING) and allow to completely air dry. Then try recalibrating.

To calibrate the touchscreen on your nuvi 200 series follow the steps below:

1. Have the unit turned OFF and unplugged from power.
2. Slide the power switch to the ON position and hold for about 45 seconds.
3. A message will display on the screen: Press Dot.
4. Once this message displays, release the Power button.
5. Press in the center of the Dot.
6. Keep pressing in the center of the Dot as it moves around the screen.
7. Once this is complete, there will be a message: Calibration Complete.
8. Touch Ok and the unit will restart.

2. Place your finger in the top left hand corner of the touch screen and apply pressure.
3. Slide the power switch to the ON position. Once unit powers on release the power button.
4. Hold pressure in left corner until the Press dot message appears.
5. Once this message displays, remove your finger from the screen.
6. Press in the center of the Dot.
7. Keep pressing in the center of the Dot as it moves around the screen.
8. Once this is complete, there will be a message: Calibration Complete.
9. Touch Ok and the unit will restart.
