I have a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer and the holder on the motor that holds the blade is broken. Can I get a replacement part?

the plastic threads holding the blade have broken thus disabling the juicer

Yes, i have the same problem.

I called the Jack lalnane parts department and they told me the only options i have is to buy the motor.

i responded by letting them know that it will happen again because the part is platic and cannot hande the toruqe - the customer service rep responded by saying that i tightened it too much and i reponded and let him know that its not the tightening and the torque is too much for the plastic thread and buying a a new motor is not going to solve the issue, they need to come up with a replcement that will fix this problem once and for all.

For now i will not buy a jack lalane juicer because this seem like a scam, the juicer i great and has a flaw in its design that disable it completely - seems like a money grab to me and looks like all the big stores are carrying a product they may losose on - buying another motor will not fix the problem - Jack shoul step up to the plate an provide a permanent fix - i will not buy the product and will share this with others.

This is a Joke, I also have the same problem...this is a design fault or just a very simple scam...its not good enough why is the plastic not strong enough to hold the torque..

What a shame on this product..I got no choice but to by a new machine........!!!!!!

I called them on this problem. They don't sell the part to fix this the only way is to buy a whole new bottom assembly for a cost of 49.99. What a rip off screw you Jack.

Jack's dead...the poor design is probably not his fault...you know, they stand the chance of making more jack when the plastic part disentigrates...they definitely should have a way to rectify this problem...

The plastic screw, which the grater is screwed onto (looks like part of the motor) is broken.

I had the juicer for exactly two weeks and the same piece broke. The little plastic part in which the blade screws onto. Called the company and they were actually no help at all. Please don't waste your money!

I do not know how to clean and take it apart

I did some research here on Fixya and this is what another expert had to say.........pull the metal bar forward and down to open up into the blade compartment. your juicer should have come with a handle type key wrench thing that you stick on top of the blades into holes to unscrew blade holder, while unscrewing that hold the blade still.
Hope this helps you......best wishes.
