What type of dual core processor can I use for my dc7600?

The motherboard for the dc7600 has an Intel LGA775 processor socket. However, not all LGA775 processors are compatible with the motherboard. For the small form factor, the following CPUs are supported: Intel Celeron D Processors:
Intel Celeron D 331 Processor (2.66-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 336 Processor (2.80-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 346 Processor (3.06-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB)
Intel Pentium 4 Processors with HT Technology:
Intel Pentium 4 521 Processor (2.8-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 524 Processor (3.06-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 541 Processor (3.2-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 620 Processor (2.8-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 630 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 631 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 640 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 641 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 650 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 651 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 661 Processor (3.6-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) or
Intel Pentium D Dual Core Processors:
Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core Processor (2.66-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 820 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 915 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 925 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 930 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 940 Dual Core Processor (3.2-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 945 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 950 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Unfortunately, these are old processors and I don't see any available new. Newegg.com lists a couple available as refurbished. You may be better off getting a new computer with either a Intel I3 or current AMD processor.

I wish that I had better news for you.

My Intel Core i3-530 Toast up 5 motherboard MSI H55M-E33. Im so lucky it was under warranty(RMA).. now question.. How to prevent processor from toasting the motherboard?? this is new to me.. any tips will...

I do not believe any of that, I think you;'ve been lied to.
LEARN TO USE CPU TEMPERATURE APP.
hwifno32.
or cpu_z
learn the CPU will slow then shut down at 90C
50C is better temp, mine here Im tying on gen6 is 34c.
add a case fan.
heatsinks kept lint free?
fans all work and lint free.

one way to wreck a mob is upgrade to 95+ watt CPU on a mobo that only allows 65watts max.
that will wreck the MOBO VRM chips, overheating them.
no CPU told no answers will ever come easy.
i3-530 is 73watts. your mobo even allows 95 watt I7
seen here clear as day
so your case fans are bad. solved

CPU: intel core i3 550, MB: Inel DH55TC, Ram: Transcend: 2GB 1333Mhz, SMPS: 550 Watt. After first installation, this system ran for 3 months without any problems, suddenly, it became dead and assuming it...

How many years do you own that desktop computer? You have a problem with your Ram: Transcend: 2GB 1333 Mhz

Ram is always responsible to boot and run all system required by your computer
A defect ram cannot boot or not properly run application e.g.
Power-On-Self-Test (start up of your computer)
Booting your Operating System
Running your Application like Microsoft office , Photoshop and so on

Replace your Ram

Actually i just wanna ask about the core i3 HD graphics on intel DH55TC motherboard does this processor support shader 3.0 on games ??

Hi.
Yes, you have an i3 processor, which allows for blazing fast gaming graphics with the graphics media accelerator.
It supports directx 11, and has pixel shader 3.0 support as well.
It allows the processor to offload the graphics signal to the graphics portion of the motherboard, allowing the processor to work way more efficiently
It has support for vertex shaders as well as the normal pixel shaders, so graphics come alive.

Just check which type of graphic chipset that you have, and download the latest drivers for it.
Some have intel chips, some have ati, and others have nvidia.

They all work equally well for the most part, for games it seems that the nvidia chips appear to work a little smoother than the ati, but the ati has it's pluses as well. The ati chips can run at a faster overall speed.
Make sure that you set the AGP aperture to the maximum amount available in your bios settings

I am using intel dh55tc motherboard (onboard graphics card) with core i3 processor, i am using maya software, but system is very slow. what can i do?

Intel Desktop Board DH55TC support for up to 16 GB of system memory DDR3. In order to achieve better speed, it is recommended that you may consider increasing RAM or adding a graphics card which would definately result in better performance.

On the software side, please make sure that you Operating System is working fine and properly tuned-up. Deleting unnecessary software etc would be beneficial.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!
Appreciate generously, if the solution could have been of any help!
