I have a Logitech C160 webcam and I lost the compact disk for the software. Can i get the software online for free? Also, a few months after I installed my webcam the first time, my computer started saying that it could not find my webcam. It would say that my webcam malfunctioned and it couldn't recognize it. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

Yes, go to the logitech web site, choose support/downloads. Download the program for your model.

Go to http://www.logitech.com/en-za/435/7389?section=downloads&bit=&osid=1#section=downloads
Select the OS, then the file to install.


Uninstall all the drivers for the webcam first before installing the new ones. Reboot the OS and then install the new software.

1st You download Webcam Driver.

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.
