The beeping is likely the 'Low Charge Alert', if it persists then it's likely the lead acid battery is dead (lost a cell.) Remove the battery, use a voltmeter and if it's less than 12V after charging, you've likely lost a cell (fully charged it should be around 13.5V)
-New batteries... that's right. but does it take charge..? If not then
nothing.
-When it's ***** then take the battery out and measure in DC Volts. (Write it down)
-Now charge it for couple hours and take it out and measure again. If there is some voltage then it's okay. but if there is same
voltage before charge then the battery does not take the charge or may be the charge can't charge.
Hi. Check your battery charge level. Some co detectors are designed to alert you to low battery levels. Do you have it hooked to the house bank or does it have it's own battery? Sometime the unit itself is defective.
With a fully charged battery and assuming that the battery is good. You need to check on/off switch, I often found the switch doesn't completly close and therefore, one side of switch is B+ but on other side the voltage is low that why low battery indicator keep beeping. Do that and see if it fix.
Good luck!
Your computer beeps when it is running on a low battery. (So, when the power cord is plugged in, it doesn't beep). It is possible that your battery no longer can hold a charge and you need to buy a new one, if you can find one.
If your not getting enough voltage to the inverter it will beep to let you know you don't have enough power. Most common cause is a lose connection thru your cigarette lighter. Also if you turn your key off it might be shutting down power to your plug. Make sure you have a good connection with your battery or plug adapter. You also need a good battery so you don't go into a low voltage condition which will make your inverter beep.
I think I had the same problem. You do not write if your device were connected to the PC. My device was, and I finally got the suspicision, that it died because the battery was so low, that it crashed when the PC polled it as an usb unit. So, I connected the unit directly to the charger unit that came with the unit, and now it works. So, try to connect directly to your charger, when your battery is totally drained.
It's beeping because the battery is completely dead and needs to charge. If beeping doesn't stop after a while of charging, you may need a new battery or a new charger.
