Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
What you're describing sounds like a faulty timer. You will need to access the timer & check the voltage with a meter so we will know which direction to head into. If the timer motor is getting 120 volts & the timer is not advancing, I recommend replacing the timer.ok
Hope this is very helpful for you if you need any further instructions on how to remove the timer please let me know
Best regards Mike

I have a ge front load washer model wbvh6240hww. I have replaced the control board the water valve and when the washer is turned on it still does not get water. The screens are clean the water is turned...

Does the door lock when you attempt to start the washer?
If not, you might check the door sensor. The washer may not realize the door is closed.

There is a musty oder coming from inside washing machine.

Dump in a gallon of white vinegar, fill with water, highest setting, after it goes through that setting, turn it off and let it set in the washer for about 30 minutes (use hot water).

Then put it on another wash cycle and then go to the rinse and spin. This should remove the order, and you should leave the door open when not in use.

Good Luck
