I am looking for a manual for the Evenflo Easy Swing Gate model # 25800570

You must figure out why it's doing that, before any fix can be given. Is it really iron, or is it merely mild steel coated to look like iron? Mild steel has a lot of flex inherent in it. How long is the gate, the unsupported portion? Check the post near the gate with a level, it may just be giving a bit as temps vary. Without seeing the gate, it's very difficult to diagnose.

There is a small slider under the handle that you slide back with your fore finger while lifting the handle.

You will have to put in the gate model number and date of manufacture. The date of manufacture can be found on the warning label at the bottom of the gate. 1. Measure the opening where you want to place the Evenflo gate. An Evenflo pressure-mounted gate will work for an opening between 26 and 42 inches wide.

1. Pull the cross bar up on the Evenflo gate so that the small metal sizing bar is movable.
2. Place the metal sizing bar into the slot that matches the measurement of your opening. If your opening is not a full inch, round up to the next full inch and place the sizing bar in this slot.
3. Set the Evenflo gate in the opening with the cross bar facing away from where your child will be. Make sure the pressure points are above your baseboards.

4. Press down on the crossbar until the metal U-shaped clamp catches the bar.
   

5. Test the gate by gently pushing and pulling on it to insure it stays in place.

Also looking for a manual, but the model is actually #545 (per Even Flo's website, it is printed on the bottom of the warning label).

You could call customer service and they could send out new parts or give you a number to call for parts.
