I have a 2 nos. of Motorola Talkabout FV300. Walkie 1 keep having the RX icon shown on the display and can't receive any signal from Walkie 2. It can transmit the signal to Walkie 2 though. Took the batteries out and put back in, still have the same result. Please help.

I have the same issue. Number 15 flashing on the display and beeping noisily. None of the buttons seem to work on it. The other one is fine. Anyone got a solution?

I got advice from the retailer. Took the batteries out and left overnight, this did the trick as they lose settings memory and work ok again when batteries are reinserted the following day.

I'm having similar problems. #15 flashes on the display and I get a rapid beeping sound. The other Walkie is fine. Have changed batteries and same thing happens. Ideas?

One walkie talkie has static on every channel

It sounds like your monitor button is stuck and you are hearing the white noise. Try pressing the monitor button on your other radio and see if the noise is the same. If so, your button is stuck. If not...
Sometimes a lot of static can be an indication of a bad or poorly charged battery. To check for this trade batteries with your known good radio and see if it solves the problem.

Motorola Talkabout FV300 channel keeps scanning 1-22 very fast and will not stop.

The instructions for FV300 are a little incomplete. When scanning the Z symbol is already showing. You must press the menu button 6 times until the Z shows up again. In the lower left of the screen you'll see ON. Now push the + or - key and you'll see OFF in the lower left of the screen. If you delay too long scanning will start again and then you must repeat the above steps.
