I was testing the wires for the left side parking light to see which one was the ground and which one was the positive, i accidently made a connection, there was a spark and now the park lights for the front and back wont come on only on the driver side. The passenger side still works, i check the fuses under the hood and the ones in the trunk area, all are good. where else do i need to look to find a blown fuse. the car is a 2000 clk 430 convertible. thanks

Can be an internal main frame issue...all fuses are good? Try an go over fuses and connections once more to verify. Worst comes to worst...Mercedes dealership would probably be your best bet.

Possibly bad ground connection - G100

Headlamps, turn signals, parking lamp all have their own ground wire that connects at that point.

Hooking up a professional grade scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the BCM - body control module may point in a diagnostic direction.

DTC B3949: Right Front Turn Signal
Right Front Park/Turn Signal Inoperative

Circuit/System Description
The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the turn signals based on an input from the turn signal switch, part of the multifunction turn signal lever. The BCM receives an input from one of two signal circuits to determine which turn signal function is requested. When the turn signal lever is placed in the LEFT position, the left turn signal switch signal circuit is grounded indicating that left turn signal operation is requested. When the turn signal lever is placed in the RIGHT position, the right turn signal switch signal circuit is grounded indicating that right turn signal operation is requested.
When a turn signal input is received from the turn signal switch, the BCM will activate the appropriate turn signals. The BCM pulses voltage to the applicable turn signals via the turn signal lamp supply voltage circuits, illuminating the required turn signal lamps.

B3949
A short to voltage, short to ground, or an open/high resistance is seen on the right front turn signal lamp supply voltage circuit.

Rear tail lights running lights not working on my 2003 Buick Park Avenue

Check the wire grounds where the lens connect to the vehicle. With a test light check to make sure current is arriving at the bulbs. If not, then follow the wires back to the light switches.

The two left rear taillamps (Bulbs 194 and 3057K) in my 2008 Lucerne aren't working. I replaced the 3057K; the left turn signal now worked. Both taillamps still don't work. Any ideas? Thnx!

With a 12v test light test the connectors that the bulbs plug into to make sure there is current to that point. If so make sure that the ground is good.

Hi, I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra. When the lights are switched on, only the left rear tail light doesn't come on. Brake lights work, indicator, hazards and reverse. I've checked the fuses cabin and engine...

All parking lights are on the same circuit. If there is no voltage at the bulb socket, trace the wires. Either the ground or park light wire is broken.

Park, Tail and Marker Lamps
The park, tail and marker lamps, including the license lamps, are turned on when the headlamp switch is placed in the PARK or HEADLAMP position, or anytime the headlights are requested. The PARK LPS fuse in the underhood junction block supplies battery positive voltage to the auto park lamp control relay switch contacts. The PARK LPS fuse in the underhood junction block also supplies battery positive voltage to the auto park lamp control relay coil. When the park lamps are turned on the body control module (BCM) energizes the auto park lamp control relay. Current flow is from the auto park lamp control relay to their respective park and marker lamps and to ground. Ground is provided at G101, G401

Just the back light's - tail lamps ,park lamps , sounds like a wiring problem or faulty connector . Viewing wiring diagrams an testing the electrical circuits is the way to find this problem . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on lighting ,then click on parking lamps under subsystem . Click the search button then the blue link's . Watch these videos an then test the electrical circuit for the rear park lamps .

I'm needing the wiring diagram for my 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.5 tail lights.

Go to http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams ! You having tail light problems ? Do you know how they work ?

They are turned on by the BCM !
Park, Tail, Marker and License Lamps
The park, tail, license, and marker lamps are turned ON when the headlamp switch is placed in either the HEAD or PARK lamp positions, or anytime the automatic light control (ALC) turns the headlamps ON. When the headlamp switch is placed in the park lamp or headlamp positions, ground from G202 is applied through the signal circuit to the BCM indicating the park lamp request. In response to this signal, the BCM applies ground through the park lamp relay control circuit energizing the PARK LP PCB Relay. With the relay energized, battery voltage is applied through the switch side of the relay, both park lamp fuses, and the supply voltage circuits illuminating the park, tail marker, and license lamps. Ground for the left front park and marker lamps is provided at G101 and the right front park and marker lamps at G100. Ground for all rear lamps is provided at G302.
Turn Signal Lamps
The LT T/SIG and RT T/SIG fuses located in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the body control module (BCM) for turn signal and hazard lamp operation. When the turn signal switch is place in either the LEFT or RIGHT position, ground from G202 is applied through the turn signal switch signal circuit to the BCM indicating the turn signal request. In response to this signal, the BCM applies a pulsating voltage to the front and rear turn signal lamps supply voltage circuits cycling the lamps ON and OFF. The BCM also sends a message via GMLAN to the instrument panel cluster (IPC) to cycle the turn signal indicator ON and OFF depending on the position of the turn signal switch.
Ground for the turn signal lamps is supplied as follows:
?€¢
G101 provides ground for the left front turn signal lamp

?€¢
G100 provides ground for the right front turn signal lamp

?€¢
G302 provides ground for the left and right rear turn signal lamps

If you have a test light, you can check for power at the light sockets and connectors. If you have power, you can connect the alligator clip on the test light to the positive side of the battery and test for a faulty ground...Good luck!

Click on the link.
Did you check fuse circuit for voltage? Use a test light with headlamp switch on to check for voltage. See the park lamp relay, I'm not saying the relay is faulty, but, you might be able to use jumper wire on load side of relay, if lamps work, the problem is on control side of relay, for some reason.
The load side of relay is that line with arrowhead. There could be other issues.
