2004 Dodge SX 2.0 Base 4Cyl2.0L - the following codes are showing: P0732, P0700, P0731 and P700 again. my check engine light came on and within a week, on my way home one day, the gears gave out and did not want to move. I did make it home to my driveway just down the bottom of my road. I had a code reader put on it and it gave several codes: P740, P732, P731, P846 and P 700 3 times. I changed the transmission fluid and filter and reset the engine light and tried it and it worked for two days and the engine light came back on. I took it home and parked it. Then i bought my own code reader and reset the light with that thinking the battery disconnect method did not work to reset thelight as the car was running fine. The car drove fine for a day or so and again the engine light came back on and the gears gave out again.I just put the code reader on my car again as I have not done so since it last gave out on me. Now the car is showing the following codes in the following order: P0732, P0700, P0731, P0700. with this new information, could we more closely pin point the problem?

Check your transmission output shaft speed sensor. First check that the connector is clean, free of corrosion, secured firmly and that wires have good insulation. If all looks well at this point then disconnect the speed sensor, remove it and clean its tip of any debris and see if this clears the DTC. If not change the sensor for a new one (less than $30). This should fix it.

99 Plymouth voyager and these codes came up p0731, p0732, p0736, p0700 what can i do about it

Probably not much you can do yourself.
Code 700 is a general fault code for the transmission or control module. Code 731 is for incorrect ratio for first gear, 732 is for 2nd gear, and 736 is for reverse. The actual problem could be mechanical or electrical, including the transmission control module.
You would need a shop manual and the necessary tools to check the circuits and solenoids inside the transmission.

I am not familar with the Neon transmission. All the codes you retrieved are related to a sensor on/in the transmission. P0870 Trans Fluid Press Sensor/Switch C Circuit. If that is defective, then the other codes are related to it, P0731 & 32 1st and 2nd gear. P0700 Trans Control Sys Malfunction. Hope this helps.

P0715 Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction

It seems like you were having an issue with your transmission but if you cleared your light and it has stayed off I would just keep a close eye on it.

2005 dodge neon codes p0731, p0700, p0573 and p0720

The codes listed all point to the transmission being in bad shape or some wiring got crossed. Check with a trans shop for an estimate.
