What Brand Name DVD Drive is it? You May have to download the Drivers off the Internet

Did it start 'burning' as soon as you connected?Was it loud with sparks?Were you using a power surge protector?
I'd say its a problem of the power supply.
If the machine came with a warrant,and is still on warrant,take it back to have its power supply replaced.If not,have it replaced/repaired at a repair shop.

A blinking cursor?
Entering power saving mode?
Try to unplug the cables and plug it back in,it should work.

Hi, to find out if the “Keyboard is compatible with your system?” You can do the following: Shutdown the Computer, connect the Keyboard to your computer. Turn on the computer. If, the “Keyboard have a Power Button?”(Turn on) the keyboard. Go to, Control Panel; click on Device Manager. Try to use cd cleaner to clean the lens, if this doesnot work, this means your lens is died, change the DVD Rom.

Hi, i think u need to talk to dell support chat, they will give you more info, or else try them in parallel, i mean like terminate with a screw driver or u can download the service manual for this like Dimension E510.

try to download the bios and flash it once again. still if u see the issue probably it could be a improper bios flashing. replace the motherboard
