Pukblocked iam getting pukblocked onmy screen i know i need to contact my operater but i dont know how

i have a hand held acu-rite model 8550 and did not get any paper work with it and dont know how to operat it

hi, if your phone is asking for the puk code then what this means is that the security code on the sim card has been activated, now dont try guessing this code as its 15 numbers long and if you get it wrong more than 5 times the sim card will be locked and will never be able to be unlocked, its a security feature in case your phone gets stolen.

Now to get the number all you need to do is contact your service provider and give them your mobile number, you need to do this as every single sim card made has its very own puk code so their is no way of getting this code other than calling your service provider.

They dont charge for this info so giving them a call is the only way you can get this code.

You will be asked for the PUK code if you attempt with wrong PIN code for 3 times.

You can get the PUK code by calling the customer care of your network operator.

Customer care people may ask you some Security questions like your Phone number,address,DOB to verify don't be surprised be sure to answer it, then note down the PUK number,then insert the PUK number into your cell and get it unlocked.

You most likely need a new ribbon cable, which is the cable that connects the two halves of the phone. They are not expensive and can be ordered on eBay, and they come with the tools required to disassemble the phone and replace the cable.

If your PUK is blocked you have to contact your operator, they will replace the sim card with the same number or they will give you the PUK code if they have enough data.
There is no way to unlock or find this code by any other way.

I am afraid unless you explain more who Neto is we cant help you ?. Its certainly not a hardware?. I did a google search even they dont know what your talking about Neto refers to someone in ITALY you sure you dont mean Nero....he is a software.
