You will need to take those old parts to a store or place that handles Danco replacement parts. I wish I could direct you to a place that would have what your looking for but parts that old are just not out there. The other possibility is to rebuild what you have those old parts a really tough. I have some old stems and handles that you are welcome to just send me some pictures of what you have and we might get lucky. [email protected]

I'm trying to remove the handles from my american standard bathroom faucet. It is from 1992 model 908497. I can't separate the part under the sink from the handle. I have it were I can lift it up about 1...

I think you might need a handle remover tool. It looks like two "L"'s facing each other with a long screw going through the top of the two L's . With a T handle at the top. The two L's go up under the bottom of the faucet handle, and the long screw fits into the screw hole for the faucet handle. A dozen turns or so and the handle pops off the valve stem. Cost about 10-15 dollars at any hardware store. hope this helps.

Cold water handle on my American Standard cold water control just spins around with out turning on the water

There is an adapter from the faucet stem to the handle. A small gray plastic faucet part that frequently causes problems for many owners. You will need to call American Standard and ask for a new handle stem connector. The faucet came with a limited lifetime warranty and the part should be free. While you are getting one, you might as well get another for the other handle. American Standard's phone number is 1-800-442-1902.
