I cannot get the s5000vsa to boot from usb. - Intel S5000VSA Motherboard

I would check the easy solution first. Servers have redundant power supplies. Make sure that all power supplies power cords are connected to the power outlets. I have seen a similar problem when one of the power supplies was not connected to the AC power source.

Here is the manual for that board which covers the light guided diagnostics but blue does not seem to be a color in the lights.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers
if you dont have a disk with the drivers you will have to download them

hello..all new or a lot of new hard disk (HDD) and DVD now is SATA cable connector..Like DVD rom player SATA or IDE cable or HDDrive SATA or IDE cable..

There should be a fan settings area is your system bios. Make sure it is enabled for adjustable speeds if you have adjustable speed fans installed. Hope this helps.

According to the following document (pages 14-19) published by Intel .. That memory module is not listed as tested/working with that board.

It is limited to support only four slots.
