Sony XPlode Amp XM-2150GSX, whats setoff sensor mean? Amp keeps cutting out!

If the Sony front end unit (stereo) has RCA jacks (Left and Right) in the back it's an input to the Xplode amp. If that's right then the Subwoofer putputs should plug or wire into the Xplode amp. I haven't hooked these up for some time but try a search on Youtube with the units you describe I'm more than 90% sure that there are videos there.

this can only mean 2 things, either your over working the amp, which means your amp is trying to push power that it don't have, and it's getting hot which is known as thermal mode. and the other reason can be that make sure amp rms. matches the rms. of your subs.

check for a short on one of the edges or a resistor on the edge of the board

Check the switch wire connection. It's the one that turns the amp on when you turn the head unit on.

The crossover wires have absolutely nothing to do with your cd player, all you do is wire your crossovers into the speaker slots on the amp and then wire your mid-range speakers and tweaters into the crossovers. All a crossover does is it splits the power from the amp to your mid-range speakers and your tweaters.

Often this is related to speaker wiring. Make sure your speakers aren't below the minimum rated impedance for your amplifier; 2 ohms per channel, or minimum 4 ohms in bridged mode. If you have two 4-ohm subs, you can't run them both in bridged mode if they're wired in parallel. If you have a blown sub, it can cause this problem also.

Disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect signal cables from the amp. If it powers up, the wiring needs to be checked. If it still shuts down (overcurrent), the amp likely has blown output transistors.
