Here is a video instruction on how to hook up the P1600 model to Net Flix.

A firmware update may be required to get NetFlix on the P1500 model.
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/BD-P1500
Otherwise, I have seen little information on the P1500 supporting NetFlix.
Please give feedback for this answer, thanks.

Netflix asks for my E-mail address and password every time. I do not have this problem when I stream to my computer, Before asking for this info, it displays the films I have already seen.

After reading through the specs for your player, it doesn't look like it has a native App for Netflix. It may be using a Blu-ray live interface to get you to Netflix that requires authentication every time.
Sorry :(

Hope this helps.

Does the samsung blu ray player model BD-UP5000 have internet connections?

This is a late 2007 model and has an ethernet (internet) connection for firmware updates and interactive content such as BD-Live but its too old for Netflix capability or other internet streaming.

Hi can i hook up netflix

you should be able to do so, go to Netflix.com if you have an account already you just need to register your player w/netflix and they'll provide you with a code for your player. You'll need to enter such code when setting up your blue player, I have an LG blue player and it took me 5 min. to do so.

My blu-ray won't let me connect to netflix on demand

The photo you put suggests a Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray player which doesn't appear to have Netflix Streaming built in to the player. Follow this link for Samsung players that do support Netflix:

I just bought a Samsung BD P1590 Blue ray Disc Player. Where do I get my activation code for Net Flix? I am a paid member.

if you have the netflix logo on the player then connect a cat5 cable from your router to the back of your player to hook it to the internet. It will download an update with your approval if its a success then your TV connect to anynet which will load then display if you would like to search youtube, anynet, netflix, or blockbuster. Select netflix and it will go through a series of legal stuff. press next, next, next and then it will give you a code screen displayed on the tv. Go to your computer and access your netflix account and you should see the tab labeled " instantly to your tv" Follow the instructions and it will give you a code which you will then have to enter on your tv. If you see movies displayed then you did it right and its connected. The quality depends on your network connection. Me, I have basic and its ok
