It seem to be the #1 common problem with the Protron TV.
It maybe cheaper to find someone to fix the power supply, but if you get it from LCDPAYLESS, make sure it has some type of warranty on it. I hate to see anyone pay $130 and it only last a couple of months.
Yes with an LCD it can be dead. The life of LCD is not nearly that of a tube TV. It depends on the hours of use. Most likely time to replace it. Good luck, Lee
Hi Jess......I have one of these TV's but in a 30". Could it be the AC Adaptor? Does yours come with one? My problem is the AC Adaptor stopped functioning therefore I have no power going through my TV. It is frustrating not getting any useful help on this TV. I will never buy a noname again. Would you know or have an 800 number or know where I can buy another AC Adaptor for my 30"? I think your problem my well be similar to mine. Hope this helps and thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
