Hi there, Neff B1432 was working perfectly this afternoon, but this evening when cooking 2 racks of lamb it wouldn't heat up higher than 50 degrees. Sounds like the thermostat...is this an easy job to...

Could be a faulty thermostat, but I would check that element is getting hot before commiting to replace the thermostat.
Run it for a few minutes and feel to see if you can feel hot air blowing from fan at rear of oven. If no heat present, thei it will be the elemnt that is faulty.

The fan comes on, but the oven does not heat up, this only happens when using the Circotherm setting, when using conventional heat it seems fine. Thanks for help.

I think you will find the fan element has failed, this will explain why it works o/k on coventional oven, as another element is used.
The fan element is located at rear of oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

Oven not heating up

If the oven fan is working o/k, then all you need to do is replace the oven element, a straightforward repair, and cost effective, if no fan, then could be expensive.

Neff B1432 oven element and fan not working

If the element has failed again in such a short time , then I would suspect that the fan is the culprit.
If the fan is not working, then the element overheats, and burns itself out.
The fact that the fan spins freely, proves nothing, as the fan can be still faulty.
The only way to prove if the fan is faulty, is to remove the oven from the housing, and remove the rear outer panel of oven,.test with a meter set to ac mains and test the fan motor terminals to see if there is power there when oven is set to heat, disconnect the element first. ,if there is ,and the fan is not running then the motor is faulty..
If there is no voltage there, then problem is elsewhere, and you will have to investigate furher.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Neff B1432 Oven Not Heating; oven light flickering

If the fan is working o/k then you need a new element fitting.
Remove the panel at the rear of the oven, there you will see the element, remove the fixing screws and ease the element forward, taking care not to lose the wires, disconnect the leads and fit new element.
The light flickering is probably the bulb not screwed in propely or a bad contact, nothing to worry about.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks
