Is this really a standard television or is it an LCD flat panel television? It sounds like this television's main board is going to need to be replaced. Hopefully the power supply won't need to be replaced as well. If the television is out of warranty and the main board needs to be replaced (a repair of $500 or more) you can usually get Sharp to cover the part if you pay the labor (or vice versa). You normally have to go to the service provider first and call in to Sharp with the estimate. You can try an INIT. It would be helpful to know the model number of this television.

An INIT reboots the television and may correct this problem. The method differs from model number to model number so call in to be walked though it. If you have an aquos television you call 877-332-7867 and if you don't have an aquos television call 800-besharp. However if you do in fact have a standard television and not an LCD this does not apply.

Rohan wants to cross a railway crossing which remains closed for 5 minutes and open for 4 minutes. How much delay can be expected if Rohan reaches the junction at any random time uniformly distributed over...

Rohan arrives 1 second too late, and waits 299 seconds.
Rohan arrives 2 seconds too late, and waits 298 seconds.
...
Rohan arrives 298 seconds too late, and waits 2 seconds.
Rohan arrives 299 seconds too late, and waits 1 second.
Rohan arrives 300 seconds too late, and waits 0 seconds.

Rohan arrives 301 seconds too late, and waits 0 seconds.
Rohan arrives 302 seconds too late, and waits 0 seconds.
...
Rohan arrives 539 seconds too late, and waits 0 seconds.
Rohan arrives 540 seconds too late, and waits 0 seconds.

So, add the 299 different delays (299, 298, ... , 1)
to the 241 non-delays, and divide by 540 seconds,
to compute an "average" wait-time.

I love my bc796d and i have had it for about 4 years? My question is concerning the delay when scanning channels and i always keep it on 4 second delay. I would like to have it delay longer and thats where...

Setting DELAY for All Search Ranges
You can set the scanner to have a delay after the end of a transmission before searching
resumes. This slows searching, but helps you prevent missing replies on a frequency.
1:SERVICE OPTION → :CHAIN SEARCH → 3:DELAY
1:NONE
The delay is turned off.
2:1 SECOND
The delay time is 1 second.
3:2 SECONDS
The delay time is 2 seconds.
4:4 SECONDS
The delay time is 4 seconds.
28
5:INFINITE
When the scanner stops on a transmission, you must press RSM to resume
searching.
6: -2 SECONDS
The scanner only stops on transmissions for 2 seconds, then automatically
resumes. To hold on the transmission, press /HOLD during the 2-second pause.
7: -5 SECONDS
The scanner only stops on transmissions for 5 seconds, then automatically
resumes. To hold on the transmission, press /HOLD during the 5-second pause.
8: -10 SECONDS
The scanner only stops on transmissions for 10 seconds, then automatically
resumes. To hold on the transmission, press /HOLD during the 10-second pause.

Second hand doesn't move for each second

Your TAG is fitted with EOL (end of life) feature. This is the cause of that 4 seconds interval movement of seconds hand and thus indicating the time for battery replacement. The timekeeping is not affected by this- it is just warning to replace battery a.s.a.p.
Find your nearest watchmaker and ask for battery replacement.

Do not forget to rate, please.

Seconds into hour minute second

Hello,
Use the witeView Mode or fraction mode
20000s /3600s/h gives 5 full hours, remain 2000 seconds,
2000s/60s/h gives 33 minutes remain 20 seconds.
Result is 5h 33 min 20 sec
Do not confuse the DMS degree, minute, seconds with th hour minute seconds.

Hope it helps.
