SOURCE: E04 fan failure reading

There is one thing that may correct this issue. You can try to reset the heater. What you will need to do is open the right hand side door and look for the POWER toggle switch, turn that off. Then turn off the Circuit Breaker that goes to the heater. Wait about 15 to 20 minutes, then reverse the order- circuit breaker on, then heater on. Try and start the heater.

If the EO4 code comes up again, look on the backside of the display panel for the diagnostic lights. If there is a problem with the heater, there will be a RED light next to some letters. That will indicate what is causing the issue with the heater.

If you do not have a manual, you can find on online at the following link:

Hope this helps!

Please help im having a problem with my copier its displing E04-10. i've tried to reset it several times but its not working...tried replacing the thermostat's but its not working + the thermitor is fine.

E04-10 refers to the fuser exhaust fan motor malfunction (either not turning or not turning fast enough). Try to blow out the fan and apply a little bit of electrical/machine oil. If that does not solve the problem the fan needs to be replaced

This problem is most likely caused by a damaged vac tube or bad vac switch. Check those first. The hose/tube may have been damaged, especially if you have any mice running around. It's most likely the vacuum tube, the switch is not as likely to fail but it's wise to make sure both are serviceable.

I have machine error E04-14 on display

E04-14 is the Fuser IH Driver fan rotation.

Fan is disconnected, or defective, EC PWB connector CN510 is disconnected, or EC PWB is defective. If you have replaced the fuser recently on a PM call, you may have not seated the connector back in properly, or in some cases there may even be something caught in the fan itself. That is a very solid machine, so I would look for the obvious before I start looking to board problems.

E04-14 error code

If your standing facing the back of the machine, you will need to change the top right fan that cools the IH,power supp. there are two fans which need to be replaced, the other fan is behind the sc pcb but that will give a different error.
