Whirlpool cabrio washer fault code f32..took drain pump off and applied 120 volts,it works. washer just makes humming noise when put in normal cycle or in rinse/drain /spin mode

http://appliancerepairguides.com/whirlpool-cabrio-washer-error-ld/
The weblink may not be to someone in your area, but he makes a good point - the system says the water is draining too slowly and that could also be an issue outside of the machine - is the drain line connected to the house drain clean? Is the house drain clear ? Did you suck up and dry to pump something that it shouldn't?
And as well, like the link suggests, can you somehow hold the Motor shaft on the pump and ensure that the impellor is still attached and moving with the motor shaft - That could be damaged or maybe it could be like a small boat motor where the shear pin is called that specifically - if the motor is getting tied up in weeds, the shear pin does just that and sheers off so that impeller stops moving but the motor is not damaged - could you have sheered off the pin between the pump impellor and the pump motor shaft?

6200 whirlpool cabrio, Ld error code. Usually, cancel, start corrects problems. Now seems like it won't spin. Tried unplugging and restarting, that also didn't work.

most likely a clogged pump drain find it below the drum usually under a plastic lid bottom left if not under the lower panel below the door

find the 3 screws and remove the cover panel and clean the pump by twisting the pump valve cover counter clockwise

WHIRLPOOL CABRIO WASHER ERROR LD The Cabrio Washer LD error code stands for Long Drain which means the control has recognized the water in the tub is not draining fast enough during the cycle.
  1. Make sure the pump and drain hose are clear of debris that would cause a blockage.
  2. Check the impeller on the drain pump and make sure its not wobbly or busted.
  3. Remove the tub hose from the pump to the tub and check it for blockage.
  4. Make sure the pump is running when and getting the proper voltage when it should be.
  5. If all the above checks out then replace the drain pump motor.

Cabrio. Why does it stop during rinse cycle?

Possibly the pump has something clogging it and it takes too long for the water to drain out therefore causing the internal time to take too long. Remove pump and see if its clogged.

I have a Cabrio washer model #WTW7340XWO. I have had 4 shirts ruined with bleached out spots all over them after washing in this machine. We use NO bleach in the detergent. What is wrong?

Hi

It seems that it needs cleaning... you can run your washer with nothing inside it at its hottest temperature setting with 2 cup of vinegar inside the unit. After this clean the drain pump assembly completely, also clean the drain hose and drain pump filter, the spots should disappear after doing all this. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

My Whirlpool Cabrio top load washer won't start now but it first started by giving LD code when would wash only heavy items like full load of towels or bedding (all others ok). If I let it sit for awhile...

we ran into this problem with ours too. I swear, this washing machine is the biggest piece of junk I've ever bought.

We used to get the LD code at the beginning of each load of wash. We solved this by manually holding the lid down tight until the lock mechanism clicked in place. Once locked, it should stay that way for the duration of the wash cycle.

One day, it just stopped giving us locking problems.
