I have Coleman Evcon Presidential furnace. I can't find where is filter. I want to replace it but can't locate it on furnace. is there any?

If the filter is not mounted on the inside of the wall intake and serviced by a hinged door then it maybe located in the air handler directly below the blower fan in a thin tray that is just shy of the width of the air handler and as thin as a 1/2 inch. There is usually a single thumb pull in the center to access the tray. Here's the bad news. Out of the 5 times I've run into this the reusable filter was removed and thrown out, no one knew what happened to it, there were no disposable replacements that thin to fit. I ended up installing an intake vent door that fit standard disposable filters which cost less than going back to the manufacturer for the original reusable replacement part. Hope you find this helpful.Make sure you check the upstairs ceilings for intake filters first before you give up.

Where is the oil filter

The engine oil filter can be in a variety of places depending on the model and type. Sometimes they are direct on the lower engine block and sometimes fitted to an oil filter head which could be part of the oil pump housing or could be bolted direct to the cylinder block.

Some filters are horizontal and some hang down and some point upwards and are accessed from the top. Some filters are canister or spin-on types and some are replaceable paper elements in a removable and reusable metal or plastic bowl or container.

How to order / replace motor exhaust foam filter?

Hi, it's Allie from Crucial Vacuum!

Maintaining your unit's filter clean and clog-free is crucial in keeping your unit working properly. Your Dyson DC39 has a washable and reusable pre-filter, part number 923413-01.

Washable filters are recommended to be washed after every 1 or 2 uses and replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on the use of your unit.

First, make sure your unit is 'off' and unplugged. Remove the dust bin by pushing the button next to your unit's handle and remove the filter from the bin. Wash your filter under running lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Allow your filter to air dry for 24 hours before placing it back into your unit. Do not use any soaps or detergents and only dry your filter naturally. Placing your unit in a dishwasher and/or dryer may damage the filter.

Having a spare filter is a great idea to have while washing the unit's filter.

You can purchase direct your replacement filters from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

I'm trying to locate the filter # so I can replace the filter in this air conditioner. Also, I need step by step instructions on how to replace the filter.

Unless the filter is totally destroyed , it is a washable reusable filter. Or if it's not extremely dirty, you can vacuum it to clean it.

If it's extremely dirty was it in warm water and mild dish washing liquid. Rinse thoroughly, shake any access water off and allow to completely dry, before replacing it. Never operate the unit without the air filter in place.

Always turn the unit OFF & Unplug it, before removing the filter.

If the filter is completely destroyed, go to the following link to locate a Frigidaire Parts Distributor near you. http://www.frigidaire.com/partsdistributorlocator

I hope the above information helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Air filter - where is it - how do you check it

This will vary by model. Pari compressors have a small round, slotted cover which holds the filter. Other manufacturers may place them in other locations, such as the side, or the back. Filters should be replaced on a regular schedule, such as every six (6) months, depending on use. Pari rates their filters for 500 hours, but recommends replacing the filter when you replace the nebulizer cup (if using reusable cups), which should be every 6 months to 1 year.

I need a replacement DCM18 reusable filter

Filters for these and the earlier model are still available, if you dig deep on the internet (the part number is 175181-00, Fits Models: DCM7, DCM18) but the prices plus shipping are as much or more than a new complete machine. I have found the entire unit for around $15 or so. Shop around and buy a new one......
