T.v i just need to know how to set the color right on my t.v. can you tell me how so the color would be even

It sounds like we are wiring a ceiling light, with a ceiling fan?--
Or am I way off base?

Do you have a wall switch, sending the power up to the ceiling light,--
Or is the power coming into the ceiling, and the wall switch is not the source of power?

This will make a big difference in how we tell you what color wires goes where--

(We are not talking a 3-way wall switch set-up are we!-- that will be much more complicated!)

So-- Tell us where the power is coming from-- Wall or ceiling.

The resistors are color coded.There should be 3 bands which are slightly separate from the 4th band.The 4th band is usually gold,silver,or i forget the third color which is actaually a %.The top 3 bands can tell me the value of the resistor.If you tell me all 4 colors I should be able to tell you the value,with the gold/silver/whatever as the fourth.The first one should be right near the end or top.The only 1 problem will be trying to determine the wattage rating but is usually very small within a circuit.Greg

The cursor probably is just a cross in the center of your TV screen whichever color your setting will be a color cross that you want to move by using the up, down, left, right, buttons on your remote. You want to move your color cross over the top of the center cross until it looks like one cross. OK, I know this set very well--if convergence in the customer menu is skewed and red or blue will not adjust in some direction, you have a convergence problem.

I can give you (post here) START TO FINISH STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS REPAIR IN THIS MODEL.

It requires that you are able to solder etc---not real hard even if you have never done it before.

Considering you can buy the parts on Ebay for about 20 dollars if you can do it yourself or know someone who can do it for you--you can save the set and a lot of money......most shops get 300 or more for this kind of trouble.

I can tell you the best place to get the chips--this set uses two STK-392-110 CHIPS.

Usually just both chips need to be replaced and the set adjusted.

The instructions tell you everything you will need and how to do the fix.

I composed them from my own experience and because many people here ask the same thing you did.

sounds like the coolant needs replacement. You can tell by looking into the lens of the CRts while the set is playing. The green and blue are usually the ones that are affected first. If you need to know where to get the coolant kit which contains the coolane and the instructions let me know and I will post the link.

You need the chips to tell the printer which color is installed. You can put your old chips on the toners and set the engine menu to continue on errors to print even when the counters show that it should be out..

This sound like the color wheel needs to be replaced!
That should fix ya!

the way how you described it looks like the screen is cracked but problem can also be in VPB (video process board).But without the model name its very hard to tell you more

Generally 50 is the middle setting. try setting the color bars all to 50 and see what happens.
