There are several RumblePad 2 receivers sold separately in Ebay.

C-UE10 or CUE10 may be commonly used.
Amazingly the word receiver is not used in the receiver label, so if someone sells just the receiver it may be labeled with "Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2".
The most common place to find lost receivers might be drawers and boxes found in home. People tend to hide cables and forget where they put them.
Did u find a place to buy only the reciever? i've lost my reciever too..

The front of the receiver is a button you have to press it down and then in the controller press button 5 and 7 down WHILE re-inserting battery. This like a master reset.

I saw your post and searched on, until i found a somewhat similar problem on ms support.
I adapted the solution and did the following (without understanding what i did)
first i rendered my computer useless, then got back to last working config and did the real fix.
I'll tell you what to do and what not to do!
When I connected my device, I got an error 41 under device status (in start->run->devmgmt.msc)
What to do: Find the HID category (on my machine it is here:)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{745A17A0-74D3-11D0-B6FE-00A0C90F57DA}
remove the 'UpperFilters' key, if it is there
Subsequently I removed the subfolders under that category( 0000,0001 etc), corresponding to any usb device that had previously been connected - I'm not sure this is necessary, though.
What NOT to do: remove UpperFilters and LowerFilters anywhere else (i tried that, it was fatal)

I purchased the Rumble-pad 2 controller but trying to get it to work with my Splinter Cell Pan... game seems impossible can you help?
