reinstall the driver for the controller

Logitech... | Answered on Feb 12, 2018

There's a button you push, if it's on and you get no rumble, it's likely that it's not supported by the game itself.
There are two versions, cord and cordless. You should check out Logitech's support page for your controller here if you have more questions and want to make sure you have the latest software etc.
Hope this info helps!

Simple fix for forward-back movement axis inversion:

In "My Documents\My Games\Gears of *** for Windows\***Game\Config", edit the file "***Input.ini". At the very top, under the section "[Engine.PlayerInput]", change your MoveForwardSpeed to a negative number, like this:

MoveForwardSpeed=-1200

Note that I only play offline, and this setting in this file works great for me with Logitech Rumblepad 2 (although all of the other buttons are still a little off, but that I can live with). I tried every other reference to forward-backward movement and the left Y axis in this file, as well as "<installdir>\Engine\Config\BaseInput.ini" and "<installdir>\***Game\Config\DefaultInput.ini", so don't bother with those...

You can start from OPTIONS in the main menu of any game and then choose CONTROLS. There if you have both the options : keyboard/gamepad, then only you can use the gamepad.
Then if you have the Gamepad option there, then select it and configure/assign the gamepad keys for your game. You can do it by going onto an option; lets say ACTION and then click the Gamepad key you want to assign. Hold down that Gamepad key and double click the mouse. There you go.Your Gamepad is up and running for your game.
Cheers.

I make Logitech gamepad profiles. I just made one for Borderlands 2. Just download it and follow the instructions. It will save you all the hassle. Go here and look for the Borderlands 2 profile:

I've noticed this issue myself on various different applications. Your Logitech gamepad should be just fine. But depending on what program you're using, they can be very unstable.

Emulators can be unstable since a lot of them are not regularly updated, which means they may not work correctly on Windows 7.
