in my opinion you should try to update firmware of the player. How to do this you can find it via this link:

From this web site the firmware is downloadable also.

I know this is an old post but here you go...
You can try one of two things.
1st try to reset the device by holding the power button for more than 10 sec.
2nd You can try to reinstall the firmware by following these steps:
To update the firmware on your M4200 or MC4200 series, you will need to:
1. Connect your device prior to installation.
2. Click on the download link.
3. Select "Save" and select the appropriate folder to save the installer.
4. Run the downloaded installer and follow the instructions to complete installation.
