No sign of life in the oven. No light, no fan, no heat. Worked two days ago. Checked main house fuse box - no problem there.

If the main fuse box breaker looks good then there is a chance that the outlet that the oven is plugged into is bad and there is no power there. also that outlet could be inline with a GFCI outlet in the kitchen and that outlet could have failed. check to see if you have power at the outlet and if you don't -- trace back from there.
( also -- sometimes the breaker looks ok and it in fact is not -- flick it off and back on and then see if you now have power to that outlet / oven ).

MAIN HOUSE FUSES TRIPPED, RESET, OVEN AND GRILL WILL NOT HEAT UP

It would appear that the tripping of the switch has caused some kind of short within the cooker. I would look for the continuity of the heating element.

Most likely the wires leading to the heating element have burnt and will need replacement. If you are comfortable with attempting a DIY, well and good. You will have to open the back panel to access the said wires. It should be easy enough to identify..it will be the wire leadingto the heating coil.

If , however, you are not familiar with these kind of things, I would recommend getting a repair guy to do it for you.

Cheers and good luck with the repair!

Oven has stopped heating, and automatic interior light has also stopped working. Fan still works though - any ideas?

Stove possibly has a fuse panel which is usually in the inside area of the switches and there is usually one for each burner as well as the oven. Make sure you replace with the right size fuse or you could have trouble.
