Hello, I have Bought a PVC-RS210 Computer. I had to Re-Install Windows XP. When i did so there weren't any audio drivers. When I tried downloading from the Sony Website it came up as Malware with Avast. Is this a False Malware Detection and how would I be able to Restore Audio? If someone could answer I would be Gladly Appreciated. Thank you for your Time.

to install the audio and modem driver: 1. u have to install UAA Bus Driver first, double click 'uaa_sp32646.exe' then follow the installation 2. install Conexant CX20549-12, double click 'audio_sp36090.exe' then follow the installation 3. install Conexant CX20548, double click 'modem_sp36089.exe' then follow the installation
this will install the sound driver and modem on your computer

If your sound is not working after installing then it means your sound driver is not installed properly.
So you need to either re-install XP or download the drivers.
Anyways i will give sound card driver to be downloaded.If you re-install XP again then make sure that your speaker is ON !

Before you install the new driver you have to uninstall the previous version and then you have to restart your system.

If this don't work then these could be the reasons..

1. The downloaded driver is corrupt of some file is missing,
2. You have not downloaded the right version for your system.

try these things and hopefully they will work.
