I don't have motherboad CD, so I've not installed audio driver. I'm searching for the audio driver on net but I'm unable to download the audio driver. Is there any way to get a compatible audio software for my PC?

Visit the manufacturer website and download the driver. If you are unable to do so then use a driver scanner program to download and install the latest updated audio drivers for the concerned motherboard.
Use Driver Scanner 2013 that will search for the drivers online. You can get the this software here: www.DriverScanner2013.net
Install the audio drivers from Mother Board CD. Restart laptop and check.
Installation steps: (Type:1) Insert the
motherboad CD, Select CD drive(ex: CD-Rom Drive(D:))> Right click>browse>select audio driver>install. After
completion, restart computer and check.
(Type:2) (if you don't the audio driver, follow the below steps)
• Go to Start> • Control panel> • Double click on "System" Icon> (it shows the System Properties Window) • Select “Hardware” Tab> • Select “Device Manager” Tab> (it shows the Device Manager Window) • Select “Sound, video and game controllers”> •
Expand “+” symbol> (check the audio Codecs, Legacy Audio Drivers and
others are not in Questioned Mark (?) symbol with yellow color. If
there need to install the drivers ). Right click (questioned mark)> Update drivers>In browse select Mother board CD> select automatic search drivers and install..
It search the drivers and install it. once complete reboot laptop and check.
Visit the Compaq MB website where on entering your product & sr. no you should be able to download the latest drivers. Also check if your BIOS needs to be updated......sodeep
Download it from the net.Every motherboard will have it's own type of audio driver..so type ur motherboard model in search engine and download audio driver of sound card.
