Sony SLV-660HF VHS VCR I had an error code of E30105, followed by error code E32505. The tape currently in the vcr is stuck and it will not respond to eject or do anything but turn on and off.

Don't see why not. Search E-Buyer.Com for something called Videomate C100 Video Audio Capture Card, that will set you on the right track to record on to DVD, software included to make DVD's.
First you must make sure you got all of the video tape out of the unit. Unplug your unit from power and check for any remaining tape. Any small piece of tape could jam your unit and give you error code E3. Once you know you removed all tape leave your unit unplugged for 5 minutes to see if it clears up the error code. E3 is a drum rotation error code and usually clears after plugging the unit back into the power. If this did not help then further repair will be necessary.
Unplug the VCR. Take the cover off by taking out the small screws on the sides and on the back that hold the cover on. With the cover off you should be able to gently move the tape back out. Things could be damaged......after the tape is out, you should try it first with a tape that could possibly be damaged during testing and do not touch anything inside while plugged in to power during testing with the cover off! Now......if it is not a working VCR anymore......you are in luck. There are garage sales every weekend...and almost every one has a VCR for almost nothing....some like new.....and boxes and boxes of tapes/movies for very little money too.
may be machnical stuck in playback mode. remove the cover and see the loading arms are near the video head , if not try to release the arm rotating caption wheel smmothly . don't push more force to rotate the wheel.
If you removed the tape carriage assembly, gear timing is probably off, assuming it is gear driven. Being one tooth off will prevent things from working properly. Gears will often have a mark (like an arrow or dot) which must be lined up with each other, in a mode specified in manufacturer service literature.
Another possibility is sensors. There are sensors (usually optical) which tell the logic when the tape is properly loaded. If one of these is broken, or otherwise non-functional, logic circuitry will go into error mode, and, in this case, eject tape & display an error code.
Lastly, check your mode switch. This tells the logic what position the mechanicals are in (gears/levers/slides). Again, if this is awry, you will have an error condition.
