How to activate gprs in SGH E490,, with idea connection!!

TO ACCESS INTERNET ON YOUR MOBILE YOU SHOULD HAVE

1. GPRS ENABLED DEVICES.
2. WORKING GPRS NETWORK.

FIRST OF OF ALL YOU HAVE TO CALL YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER TO ACTIVATE GPRS ON YOUR SIM CARD (YOUR NAME SUGGEST THAT YOU ARE FROM INDIA SO IF YOU HAVE AIRTEL SIM THEN DIAL *567# OR HAVE TATA DOCOMO SIM THEN DIAL *141# TO ACTIVATE GPRS BY YOURSELF.)
AFTER GPRS ACTIVATION AGAIN CALL CUSTOMER CARE AND ASK THEM TO SEND SETTING ON YOUR DEVICE(IN AIRTEL SEND "MO" TO 543210 FOR TATA DOCOMO SEND "INTERNET" TO 52270)
AFTER RECEIVING SETTING SET THEM AS DEFAULT SETTING.
NOW OPEN YOUR BROWSER AND ENJOY SURFING AND DOWNLOADING.

GPRS settings and Activation support is provided by the service provider(Airtel,vodafone.etc).You could call your service provider customer care and get the instructions forthe GPRS settings and also they would do activation for internet connection.

i forget the security password how can i recover this

To browse through the phone , you need to activate gprs packet data
connection .
To do that , you need to call costumer care of your operator for help . Such a call must be free of charge .
Just keep asking them , until you have a solution , they are the only ones that can provide the best help .
By the way , don't ask them about gprs activating only , but ask them how to set your SGH L 700 to browse the web . They can send you automatic settings for your SGH L 700

This means that GPRS is not activated on your mobile number. Ask the helpline of your service provider to get the GPRS activated and the GPRS settings for your phone model.

you have to activate the gprs from the network provider in order to use it

For activating the gprs connection please contact the customer care and ask for the gprs settings by telling them the name of ur mobile . if they cant provide u the automatic settings ask for the manual settings and enter in ur phone....... after activating the gprs reset ur phone . now ur phone is ready for use

1: *#4777*8665#, go to GPRS settings
2: Highlight "GPRS Detach" then press select
