Norcold model 1200LRIM. Unable to select AC or LP mode. Auto is only option. Fridge frequently quits in Auto mode. No error codes. Display just goes blank. Battery connections are good; voltage is good. Ideas?? Thanks. Ron

Please make sure that the fridge door is shutting properly and there are no busted lights within your unit. If so, please check that you've not recently changed the temperature of the fridge more than 20 to 30 degrees and then reference the error code table in your manual to find an alternative solution to this issue.

There should be a code appearing on the display. If you are not getting any 12V to the Fridge your fridge will not function. You may also want to check for any blown fuses inside the electronic board assembly. ">

The N611 will flash 3 times as an AC heater fault. If your AC heaters are ohming out properly (48 ohms of resistance), then you have a bad power board. If the AC heaters are not showing around 48 ohms of resistance, replace the AC heater. It's going to be one of the two. Here is an article on it:

Quit playing with it ... absorption refrigs work slow ... and do not recover well ... If yours has a thermostat ... set it a little lower ... check it in the morning ... use a thermometer inside. Keep track of the temps.

Putting warm food in the frig will result in a big slowdown in recovery.

u need to replace the thermocuple or be sure its near the pilot also be sure to blow out any and all dust in that area

One of two problems. The auto switch is bad or the lower circuit board is not doing its job. You can call norcold technical or take the board to a service center and have it checked with the tester they should have. The lower board retails for 176.00. I looked at my tech file and it is a little vague on your particular situation. If I were repairing your fridge I would take the smart route and call technical. Hope you get your problem solved.
