Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "ToshibaSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.
is there an MSD slot?
most likely not you need an adapter for a MSD to a normal size SD it looks just like the mini but x2 or x3 and it will come with another MSD
and before you buy it make sure that your laptop has an SD bay (opening)
I would try a system restore. Did you down load something since then? Hopefully you have a restore point set? click start-->all programs-->accessories-->system tools-->system restore. (this will set everything to default,if you made any changes.)
If it is a hard ware issue you will know if this solution does not work. Then I would uninstall the drivers then reinstall. If you have access to the internet you might find the any necessary software online.
If this still does not work seems the speakers are bad.
this problem bugged me for weeks!!
finally figured it out today
download the sd card reader drivers from toshiba (not a 3rd party site)
boot into safe mode
delete all the sd card reader drivers currently installed
install the downloaded driver
reboot into normal mode
let the computer go about its business installing the driver, then it should work.
cheers,
thomas..
S-Video would allow you to run your laptop onto a TV, you would have to buy an S-video cable and have a tv or box that is s-video compatible or buy a converter. You would connect the cables to the tv from laptop and Using th <FN> and <F5> toggle between lcd/external/both
SD media card reader just reads SD card you have e.g. camera memory cards, data transfer etc.
sd card is inserted pin side down and pushed in till it clicks in place
Hi,
i,d suggest looking carefully around the top edge of the laptop base. your looking for a small slot, the size of a 50 pence piece. or a quarter dollar US.
this could be by the left hand-side towards the screen ( as Is On sony Vaios ) If you need a user Manual, they have them @ 7Manuals. @ about $7.00 Or £3.50p UK.
Payments via Pay-Pal Accepted.
Hope This Helps Mike @ compurepair.
