This is a problem with the GM965 chipset display driver. you need to search for the updated display driver for your computer/laptop and then install this to your system.

steps:

  • Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties'
  • In Properties screen, select 'Hardware', and then 'device manager'
  • Look for 'Display Drivers/Adapters', and then look for your display drivers (e.g. Intel(R) GM965 chipset display).
  • Right click on the name of the display driver and choose 'Uninstall'.
  • Reboot your computer.
  • Go to http://www.update.microsoft.com
  • Choose Custom Update option
  • you will see microsoft page checking for updates for your system
  • once it has detected that your display driver is missing or needs to be updated
  • you can click in Hardware link on left side of screen and it will show you the old version of your display driver
  • simply install this one and you are done.

Blue screen regarding File IGXPRD32

This is a graphics card driver problem. Did you or windows recently update the driver? You can do a system restore back before the driver was updated and that should fix your problem.
Another way is:
If you cannot boot into regular mode to the desktop then
try safemode F8 when computer first turns on hold down F8 key should get a screen with a list of choices, choose safemode.
1. Go into device manager, under display find the graphics driver right click on it, properties, and try rolling back driver...if this wont work then proceed.
2. Once at the desktop, go into add/remove (control panel) and uninstall display driver.
3. Go into device manager, and under display if its there uninstall the driver there too.
Now restart your computer and it should find the video card and reload the drivers.
Hope this helps. I would appreciate your feed back.

Display driver ati radeon family stopped responding and has succesfully recovered. When playing game they freeze up. New alien aurora 5970 ati

First thing to do I guess is check your GPU temperature.
Use GPU-Z and see what it says when idling and under load.
Else try checking for newer or older drivers, maybe it's driver related.
