This is a problem with the GM965 chipset display driver. you need to search for the updated display driver for your computer/laptop and then install this to your system.
steps:
- Right click on 'My Computer' and
select 'Properties'
- In Properties screen, select 'Hardware', and then 'device manager'
- Look for 'Display Drivers/Adapters', and then look for your display drivers (e.g. Intel(R) GM965 chipset display).
- Right click on the name of the display driver and choose 'Uninstall'.
- Reboot your computer.
- Go to http://www.update.microsoft.com
- Choose Custom Update option
- you will see microsoft page checking for updates for your system
- once it has detected that your display driver is missing or needs to be updated
- you can click in Hardware link on left side of screen and it will show you the old version of your display driver
- simply install this one and you are done.
