Red light mystery. Man I have the same problem. The local repairman kept my tv for about 3 months, said the high voltage transformer needed to be replaced. The part # on the tv is FFA61513L but could not find it. He called Samsung and got a equal part # which is BP26-00015A. The problem is the part takes 6 weeks to come in, if they have any. I had and l32n series tv with the same problem, im an electromecanical engineer. the problem can be solved by opening the tv, and on the power supply board, on the upper right there are 3 or 4 capacitors, brown or blue, change which ever looks like its about to blow up. you can tell if the top of it in NOT flat. those that still have the flat top are fine. check the voltage and replace it with one that has 5volts more than the one you took out. im located in NY if you want me to do this for you reach me at www.joanoc.com

Well the problem is also, they play high quality in a store and your tv is just hd, that's why i don't waste money on a expensive tv. And be smart, buy a two hundred dollars device two make your tv or pc , the best as it can be .
Try recycling the power, Unplugg the power cord wait at least 2 mins ant then plug back in. Some times by turning it off an on rapidly will cause the microprocessor to lock up or freeze. Much like a computer does when you have to reboot it..
The answer is yes. I have the PT4799HD and the wii system and it works just fine. It is currently hooked up to the analog audio video input . But a HD cable is available for the wii as an accessory.
