I need to change the Region code on my LG HB905SA HD Blue Ray DVD Player from region 4 to multi zone, I hope you can help.

Thanks for using FixYa. You can try these three methods to make it region free---

METHOD 1

1. While there is no disk in the player switch it on and press 'Pause' button on the remote. Now enter '314159' on the remote and Code will appear on the display. Now enter '0' to make it region free. Press 'Pause' button again on the remote and power the player off and then back on and it will become region free.

METHOD 2

First of all without any disk in the player press 'setup' on remote control and move down to the 'lock' picture. Now press '0000000' and when congratulation message appears select 'Ok' button, switch off the player and then back on to make it region free.

METHOD 3

Without disk inside the player turn it on and open the disk tray. Now push '0' button thrice on the remote and push the pause button on the player. Now push '0 button on the remote and close the DVD tray and the player off and back on to make it region free.

I have confirmed, there is no region unlock available for this model. It is coded at a hardware level meaning it is impossible to unlock the region on this device.
