L'm unable to access internet with my laptop - AT&T Computers & Internet

Nothing to do with computer. Howver chec:
1.you have h/s/internet and connected to your computer/laptop. Or your laptop can get wireless internal access thru say, home network.
2. do yo you have proper access to brokerage acct eg acct id, pwd, . If not call and get all u need for accessing acct.

Check the wireless router and high-speed modem.

If the two are not powered on, or if the Ethernet cable connected the two is not completely inserted into both connection ports, you are unable to access the Internet on the Acer Aspire One laptop computer.

Activate the wireless Internet connection on the laptop computer.

Right-click the wireless icon on the desktop, then choose "Enable" from the pop-up menu.

Without activating the wireless receiver on the Acer Aspire One, the laptop is unable to detect any wireless network.

Select the appropriate network you wish to connect to.

Your computer may be attempting to connect to a different Internet connection, preventing you from access the network you desire. Right-click the wireless icon, select "Search for available wireless networks," then choose the network you want to access.

Restart the computer.

The system may have booted and failed to detect the wireless receiver. Restarting the computer corrects this issue.

The reason this is happening is because Starbucks makes you login to an account before you are able to access the internet. Unfortunately the DSi is unable to use this login page as the DSi does not have a web browser. However there is still a way for you to get online.
You will need

• A laptop
• USB Wi-Fi connector for the DS

Then just follow these steps

1. Turn on your laptop and access the Starbucks Wi-Fi
2. Plug the USB Wi-Fi connector into your laptop.
3. You should now be able to easily play your DS online

I have a different router with similar problem but to fix this problem I just shut down the CPU and the router, then I waited a minute or 2 so it would reset and when I turned it back on everything woked fine. could be as easy as clicking on the repair internet connection icon so it will rest IP, but you may have already tried that. Good luck

what web browser are you using with the pc? microsoft blocks users that are using anything other than internet explorer, cannot access with firefox or opera unless you change your user agent.

normally there is a small hole for reset to factory default, just put a pin inside...
Other than that, u can also connect using network cable and access the router configuration, inside, u can edit the wireless security keys

Hi...yes, he will need an ISP if he wants to access the internet from home. But he could also use a public wireless hotspot, or borrow your connection (if you're willing to let him!) - at least until he has set up his own. Mobile broadband is also an option.
