My cell phone is locked and i dont know the code to unlock it, its a verizon lg 6000

You may need to reset the phone to get in without knowing the pattern lock. To do this (you will lose your saved phone numbers and any stored data!!), follow the steps:

1. Remove battery, then reinstall battery.
2. Hold Volume Up, Home and Power buttons for several seconds, until you see the setup screen.
3. Follow the prompts to set the phone up again.

if these dont work or you dont want to bother then just call verizon theyll know

There's no way to bypass your lock code yourself. Take it down to Verizon and they can unlock it for you. They normally do this for free.

the unlock code is originally the last 4 digits of your phone number. so if a phone number is 555-8743. that means my unlock code is 8743. Hope this helps. If you have already changed the unlock code...then go to a store from you service provider.

I heard *228 might work..but it might be an activation code..not a reset code. I'm going to try it.
