Hi penny, we two have the same problem. after completly shutting down the tv and unplugging, we removed the RCA/s-video pannel from the back with the three skrews leaving all wires in tact. without touching the mother board i gently pressed in the cords beteween the back pannel and the motherboard. i also had an air compressor and blew out all the dust. PLEASE I HIGHLY RECCOMEND YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED PERSONS DO THIS! touching motherboard components will not only short your tv but it will shock you at a high voltage. we then skrewed in the pannel again and after 1 mintue component along with S-Video worked. i hope this helps you

Watched DVD cannot return to regular TV just snow what channel should it be on

if you have an external box for the signal (like a sattelite receiver or cable box) then you need to see what input it's plugged into.
If it's plugged into something marked AV1 or something like that, that's the input you need to select to get the TV back. The TV input selection is only for when you have analogue cable or antenna plugged directly into the TV itself.

Snowy picture, device menu will not come up.

Depending on what devise, (cable box, game system, movie players) the sign of snow is no signal, there are inputs that you hook a devise up to on a TV, you have to change the input on the TV to pick up the signal of the unit, on the remote or TV itself, there with be a(n) "input", "source", "tv/video", or "video source" button that you can choose the same input you chose in the back of the TV.

I have a lg 60in tv mw-60sz12 that has blue lines across the screen.i change the lamp and it still has the blue lines.

I have same Lg Mw60sz12 that had blue lines.. I found out it was the box that we plug all the different cables in for surround sound, dvd etc. The connection was loose and caused the blue lines.. as soon as I got a new box the lines went..

I have a WD62825, it lost power while watching. There is power at the plug in.

Is the grreen light on?..or can be switched on via remote? Plug it out then back in. Green light flashing? If so...you have lost input signal or the tv has reset itself to another input (non functioning). Use Remote to set input (via Net Command) to functioning signal. If the Green light NEVER comes on...it may be major system failure. Be sure remote is set to "TV"

Does not pick up cable satellite signal

Do you have the satelite hooked threu the regular cable input? If so hook it thru one of the video inputs instead; composite video or component video. the picture and sound will be better and you will be by-passing the problem area of your Tv ( the tuner).

DTV

Yes, you will need a HDTV converter box. Your set does not have a ATSC tuner that recieves HDTV signal. Your HD signal will be thru your Component Inputs on the rear jack panel along with audio IN.

Try changing the resolution on you computer. That TV may not handle the current resolution setting. You may also have to do something on your computer to turn on the rgb output.
