Unable to view the pictures folder

1- make sure the driver is installed correctly
2 - use smaller cable(becuse of losing voltag)
3 - chang the port(usb) that you connect the cam

Consider NOT using the USB connection.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. by default the pics in sony digicam is stored in memory card.. so you can connect the memory card with pc with the help of card reader.. then you can easily view and transfer pics from digicam to pc

Provided u got a Windows XP or higher operating system in your computer, u may :-

1. directly connect the digicam to the computer's USB port (s). the Windows XP or higher operating system in your computer ll automatically recognize the digicam as a separtate storage device - copy all the contents then paste them in a folder at your hard disk,

this is due to the virus problem , go to folder option check view hidden files options, also check show protected files option there you can see all your files on pendrive, scan you pen drive and system to a updated antivirus

Your camera, memory card and laptop got infected with virus and should be scaned with updated anti-virus program.

The folder is created automatically on the memory card, you should be able to browse to it by connecting the camera to your computer and opening up the camera storage through "My Computer" on your desktop.

This is normal. Many cameras will not display photos taken by other cameras.

if you have a sony digital like mine my pc pick up new hardware
and you get guided thru download process it is as easy as pie

try using reinstalling ur system software from sonyeriscon care center .. do install some good antivirus to ur phone as it seems to be a virus problem in ur phone
