I won a judgment in Magistrate Court Cherokee CO against Reliable Heating & Air for around $1900 which they immediately appealed asking for a jury trial - that was 2 years ago. I am unable to obtain an attorney because of the low amount of judgment. I wrote the Superior Court back in Dec. 2008 asking for a court date and was told I needed an attorney so nothing was ever done. I again wrote Superior Court last week again asking or a court date and was told I needed to draft and submit a RULE NISI, but the clerk would not even tell me what that was - she said I had to ask an attorney or go to their law library.Cherokee Court is a 100 mile round trip from my home. Is there a guide on the internet on just how to draft a RULE NISI? and to whom it it addressed? It is obvious that Reliable HVAC has no intention of taking this appeal to court hoping that I would just forget this case and they would never pay me this judgment.

Well you need to promptly contact the seller and inform them then ship it back and ask for a replacement or money back, this is all one can really do, as to tamper with it would void any warranty, it should work out of the box, first time.
Also try "other" power points, actually make sure it isn't working?
With the Air 8 Models there is a number of issues from the motor to the power supply to the circuit boards. With these old units it is hard to find parts for them. as oreck no longer manufactures them. but if the parts were availible i would estimate around 100 to fix your power issue
your sensor board has failed , a realy common problem , most if not all are dead and no parts are made for it ...... you do not need the sensor anyway it was only installed as a knee **** reaction to fda worrys of ozone levels over 0.05 ppm in bedrooms . so the board was installed to cut at 0.05 ...... it was a failure , so a bypass switch was added to get around the problem board ... just set on man , adjust for your sq ft ... you will be fine
Sharper Image recalled the units because of the lawsuit that they lost against Comsumer Reports. They were ordered to pay all legal bills forcing the company into chapter 11. Not only was it proven in court that they don't work but there are also harmful to use based on EPA data.
Consumer Products Safety Commission is issuing a report by the end of the year which could stop sales of all ionizers in the U.S.
Could be a blade replacement needed but Sharper Image recalled the product. Since it was proven in court that it wasn't effectively cleaning the air by Consumer Reports as well as EPA data. As a result of the legal action, Sharper Image filed for Chapter 11.
Here are a few links about it:

Consumer Products Safety Commission is going to issue a report at the end of the year on all ionizers. Their decision will effect sales of all ionizers in the U.S. With EPA data indicating that not only do they work but there harmful to use, it's beginning to look like the product is going to vanish.
Sharper Image ionizers are no longer being serviced. What got them into trouble in the first place was the fact that they were not cleaning the air and that the air they were filtering was hazardous some peoples health. This was based on data by Consumer Reports as well as the EPA. They went to court on it and they lost.
Sharper Image was offering a rebate to people who had purchased ionizers.
The Consumer Products Safety Commission is going to be making a decision on ionizers by the end of the year. It could be that they will no longer be sold in the US next year since they are ineffective and can cause health problems.
This is an industry that should have been regulated years ago just by EPA data alone. The idea that charging the air around you gets rid of stuff is a joke. In the copier industry that I work in we are told that it is bad since copiers create ozones in the same way.
