Mitsubishi VS-45607 Picture is not clear. Picture shows green and red image colors only. The menu letters are clear and normal but the picture is dark and I could not fix it through the menu options. All bulbs appear to be lit and working.

If so I believe your CRT liquid coolant has gone bad and needs replaced. How to diagnose bad CRT Coolant:
Note: This problem will only affect the GREEN and BLUE picture tubes. The RED CRT is never affected, because the wavelength of the red light does not promote this algae growth General Symptoms: Washed out, blurry picture, red portions mostly OK, GREEN images have halos, BLUE portions of images may have halos or be missing entirely.Turn the color level control all of the way down and remove the screen and/or the cabinet that contains the mirror. (different for different models) Do not turn the set off or the color level control will reset to preset levels. Look directly into the picture tube lens while the set is on. First look at the RED CRT. Observe the scan lines in the picture. These same lines should also be present in the green and blue picture tubes. After looking at the RED CRT for comparison, look into the GREEN or BLUE CRTs. If it is contaminated, it will look like there is a layer of film that you have to look thru to see the picture. There may also be swirls and other various contaminates forming. If it is not as clear and sharp as the RED CRT, it is contaminated, and you should change the coolant fluid. IF you wish to tackle this I will supply more information and instructions. This task is medium to hard for non trained people. Let me know if you wish to get the instructions on changing the fluid.
Critical question: when first turned on picture is bouncing up and down, What about menu or on screen display?
Anyone with access to the Mitsubishi site can find this, if main picture jumps when cold but on screen menu does not it is a bad filter cap, site will have location for both, easy fix and cheap parts.
I usually in this case change both caps, saves having to do two repairs.
IF On screen display does not jump but main picture does when cold, there are two tiny caps that are bad, with a photo of inside of set I can pinpoint them for you clearly.
I have fixed this problem in the home many times and from memory know where to look.
Please let me know if need ANY help.
I am here to help you.
No joke, I am probably the most experienced Mitsubishi expert here on the site.
2 THINGS CAUSES THIS PROBLEM ON THESE --- THE BLUE PICTURE TUBE HAS LEAKED FLUID ON THE CIRCUIT BOARDS ,,,THAT 'S BAD
AND SOMETIMES ,WHEN THE VERTICAL CIRCUIT GOES OFF ,,THE SCREEN WON'T LIGHT UP ,,,THAT NORMAL ,,,KEEPS FROM DAMANGING OTHER PARTS
U NEED A TECH TUNICA
The set is old and the picture tubes are probably weak. you can pop off the front grill, remove the protective panel to expose the picture tube sockets. On the sockets are controls to increase or decrease the intensity of the colors. The red is on the left ,green center and blue right. Go to a B&W picture or turn the color off, then adjust for the best grey screen.
There is a crt drive problem and you can isolate it by unpluggin g the set, removing the green crt socket, in the middle of the three tubes is the green tube by the way, remove one of the other tubes and switching the crt sockets and turn it on. If the set is still greenish, then the green crt is bad and needs replacement, if another color is primart, then it is going to be the green crt drive circuit and is going to need to be serviced. Good Luck
