I get a code 10 while I'm using an intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG. I did somehow get it to start once, however, even then it still wasn't working properly. My wireless switch wasn't showing that it was on, but Windows said it actually started. But now I'm back to square 1.
You can try updating the drivers for that wireless adapter. If the same happens, you can try to uninstall it completely then reinstall it with the updated drivers.
You can also try to install it on a different slot or a different laptop to test the connection.

i cant get a full installation ive updated bios and the drivers a few times im on a hewllet packard dv2000 i get code 10
I have the same problem were it shows up in device manager but not in the network connections. I have uninstalled the drivers and the reinstalled them but still the same problem, it is only a new Acer laptop bought at Christmas.
