SOURCE: Difficulty unfolding phil and ted stroller
Hi,
I find that the best way to do this is the following;
Make sure that nobody is standing behind the pram (expecially small people!)
Make sure that the seat unit is raised.
Stand to one side of the pram, bend down and with both small black plastic buttons, push inwards (so that they are going toward eachother)
The back of the pram should fall to the floor.
Where the childs back of the knees are, lift up the fabric a little and grab the black metal bar, then lift this up and the pram should collapse nicely. You should have a ******** the handle bar with a popper on to secure this shut.
I hope this helps.

Take off the front wheel, this allows the buggy to fold a bit tighter and lock. You now should be able to push the grey button to unlock it.

We have a new Phil & Teds Classic -- same problem. Solution #2 worked for us. Pushing down on the black bars while pressing the grey button was the solution. Not sure why this is necessary to make the silver button line up with the grey button, but it is. Engaging the brake did not seem to make any difference.

be careful our phil n ted buggy collapsed while the baby was in it we discovered the pin was missing on one side and the other one snapped. If the baby was in the second seat underneath I would not like to think what would have happened. Be careful.
