Hello,

We looked everywhere for one of these batteries with no luck finding one. What we did find was the Lenmar DVDU923 rechargeable Universal battery pack. This is a small battery that can sit under the DVD player to power the unit. We went to Hawaii and brought 2 of these batteries with us for watching movies on the flight. They worked great, each battery lasted 8 hours with our player. The battery kit also comes with different plug tips to power other DVD players too.

Changing the battery is what you should have done. Now check to make sure that the battery is in the right way. Finally, check to make sure the battery is fresh. A new battery that has been sitting around for a long time loses its charge.

If you are sure it is the battery, you may need a new remote. if so, take your DVD player to any radio shack store and they will match it to a new remote for you.
