Do i have to download software before i can use the phone with a computer ?

Run your 'phone' software on your computer, with your phone connected, and download any compatible app.

The software may have come with your phone when new.

check any updates of your phone for the software driver and install it to your computer..or betterremove your memory card and use card reader to download pictures or music.

unhook the phone from the computer, install the software and reconnect the phone.

i have the cable to connect from phone to pc but no software on the computer to send pic from phone to pc. Is there a program on web that can be downloaded

update ur phone tru the SE website, then reload the software on ur comp..try connecting with the usb, follow wizard, and once u r connected, while disconnecting eject properly as the manual tells u to..All the best
