SOURCE: How to wash the cover

Most car seats have plastic clips around the edges that will come off. if you work around all the edges you can eventually get it off. The straps can be difficult to remove. Just pay close attention to how they came apart. Take pictures if you have to. They are a paint to put back if you don't.

Hope this helps,
XP

SOURCE: How do I put back on the cover for modle 22-859-AFD?

NO!!!! You NEVER take chances with a car seat!!! Contact the manufacturer about how to put straps in correctly. Then go down to your local police department to have a car seat safety check done!!!!!

SOURCE: need help rethreading safety strap

My son has special needs so I must wash his seat often. I can not remember how to put the straps locks back so...

First, whenever I wash the car seat cover, I rethread the straps immediately. I only unhook one at a time and look at the one that is still threaded to see how to re hook the one I am working on.

Since you can't do that at this point, I suggest going to a store that sells car seats, look at how the straps are hooked and if you have a picture phone - take a photo!

I got a bernette 134d overlocker and the Nr 3 thread keep on breaking. What's wrong?

Most often, it is misthreading. Remove all the threads from the machine. Then rethread each thread in the order specified and verify the thread path is correct for each. Also, when threading the tension mechanism, give each thread an extra little tug to make sure the thread is seated completely.

Oh yes, very IMPORTANT. Always raise the presser foot when threading the machine!!!

FWIW, when a thread breaks, trying to rethread that one thread will not resolve the issue because it is being threaded out of order. If rethreading the one thread doesn't work the first time, just bite the bullet and rethread every thread.

The other possibilities are the tension is too tight, poor quality thread, or a burr somewhere in the threading process of that thread is snagging the thread.

Rethreading 5-point harness

Hi Tamara,
We'd have to advise you to contact Dorel USA for further assistance. You can e-mail direct to [email protected]

On the back of the carseat shell you will find an orange and white sticker. Take a photo of this sticker and attach it to the e-mail as it will help the customer care advisors to determine which carseat model you have.

I just got this machine. I opened it, threaded it according to the instructions. When I started to sew it got hung up and wouldnt budge. I rethreaded everything, smoothed out my material and tried...

Something is not right with your threading or your thread. Insert a new needle, totally rethread. Now once you think that you have it threaded right, put your presser foot up, pull on both threads, it should feed smoothly, now lower the presser foot, pull the thread again, it should barely move. This usually seats the thread in the tension discs. Make sure that your thread is not old thread, because it breaks easily and causes grief. Hold your threads when you first start out for a few stitches, if you are sewing on thin material, use a stabilizer. If, you still have problems, take the machine back and get one that has the dvd with it. Good luck
