Need instructions We received this bassinet used and it came with no manual or instructions on how to put together. We were hoping someone could upload their guide or manual on how to assemble it.

Same sad story....received as a hand me down and haven't the first clue how to put it all together!

  • iebrutus Jan 08, 2008

I had the same problem. Someone gave me theirs that they were getting rid of, but it was totally broken down and missing some of the parts. I found the instructions off of a link on this site:http://eddiebauer.djgusa.com/product/det...
and found exactly what I needed (including a number to purchase replacement parts). Fixya.com was very helpful - Thanks!

It's very easy...just remove the center phillip screw on each inside brackets. (there are three screws on each end - unscrew the middle one only). The bassinet lifts off and you can remove the bedding. The manual is at http://eddiebauer.djgusa.com/ than go to bassinets.. Greg in Detroit <>

I bought this older eddie bauer bassinet, looks very similar to the newer ones, but has no Eddie Bauer Logo on it. When I got it home I noticed that it had an odor of gasoline(not thinking it would have been stored in a garage) Is there a way to take off the bedding/ruffle/hood to machine wash it?
Also, can you buy a replacement bedding and if so where? thank you.

Are these instrustions on here on thsi site (posted by Jessica77)? How do I find them.

Went to EB website, instructions not there. called 1800 number, and they are closed. Help finding the instructions on the weekend would be very helpful.

Thanks!

When taking the top cover off to clean it my boyfriend was messing with it you take the top screw off to the musical side then that pops off and you then loosen the screws on either side of the rocking bassinet to pull off the bassinet to take off or wash the cover if u need any other things let me know it took a few times to figure out that you didnt have to undo this from the wood

Sometimes you can go to your web site type in { industrial, put in the name of the product then type in manul } alot of the time you can get a manual for it. I done this when I was looking up a manul for a fax machine.
